Your statutory rights
Nothing contained within these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights as a customer.
We reserve the right to change details and prices on any part of this site, including these terms and conditions, at any time and without prior notice. We will, however, honour any order placed before such changes were made.
We will deliver to most parts of the Great Britain. For Scottish Isles, IOM, Channel Islands, (codes HS,TR,ZE,IM,GY,JE ) N Ireland, Isle of Wight, Highlands of Scotland( codes AB,DD,FK,IV,KW,PA,PH) and Eire there is no guarantee for “next day” delivery.
If the appropriate carriage has not been selected in the cart, no delivery will be made unless the outstanding balance is paid.
We will debit your credit/debit card when your order is taken. Should your order include an item that is out of stock on the dispatch date, we will either offer you an alternative product or refund your money. We will always attempt to call you as well as e-mail.
Orders can be placed at any time however deliveries will be sent Monday/Wednesday for shellfish of each week (to be confirmed when order is placed). If we anticipate any difficulties concerning the delivery date, we will contact you to arrange a mutually acceptable alternative. If you are not in, the delivery will be made usually by leaving by the back door or out of site or with a neighbour or with your instructions left at checkout. If you have not received your delivery by 4.30pm on the expected day please contact our office by phone to report this.
Orders placed before 12pm will be despatched the same day. Orders received after this time will be sent on the next available delivery day.
Products containing alcohol can only be purchased by those over 18. They will not be delivered.
We aim to supply quality shellfish in an efficient manner. If you are dissatisfied with the shellfish, please contact us by phone stating the reason for your dissatisfaction, where we will either issue you a replacement or refund your money.
Cancellation of orders
You may cancel your order by phoning the office before 1.00pm on the expected day of dispatch. We will refund your payment in full.
We will not pass on any details about you to any person not directly employed by us, unless required to do so by law.
You may call our customer helpline on 01248 430878. If the line is not attended, please leave a message. The phones are only manned between 9am-4.30pm Mon- Fri. We aim to respond to all calls within 24 hours. Alternatively, you may email us using the contact form on the contact pages of this website.
We sincerely hope that you never have cause to complain about our service or products. If, despite our best efforts you do have a complaint, please call 01248 430878 and leave a message we will deal with the complaint as quickly as possible.
Where applicable, VAT at the relevant rate is included in the website price.
